Welcome to the homepage of Sydney Uni's ACM Programming teams.

ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (aka, ACM ICPC, ACM Programming Contest, ICPC) is an annual multi-tiered competitive (aka, algorithmic) programming competition conducted by and for the world’s universities. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

In the South Pacific Region, the ICPC is comprised of the following three levels of competition.

  1. Divisional Contest: roughly top 12 teams advance to the regional contest

  2. Regional Contest: roughly top 2–3 teams advance to the world final

  3. The World Final
